Bicyclist safety is important. Join us on a Zoom call to learn about NJ's safe passing law and help create a JSTS campaign that spreads the word about bike safety in 2023. Paul Mickiewicz of the League of American Bicyclists (LAB) and NJ Bike and Walk Coalition (NJBWC) will join and describe how we might approach a campaign. Dave Speis of Princeton Free Wheelers (PFW) will join and describe efforts that PFWs have underway. From that we will create a JSTS action plan for 2023.

Happy Cycling in the New Year,
Best regards from,

Background: Earlier, in 2022, JSTS leadership invited club members to participate in renewed bike advocacy activity. A group formed and identified direction that focuses on increasing awareness about the NJ safe passing law, improving signage for cyclist safety, and influencing roadway improvement decisions in local communities. Your input can make a difference. In addition to kicking off an awareness campaign, you can help hone the direction and build momentum with action that increases safety for cyclists.
