Bike Maintenance (with B3 Bicycles)

JSTS, in partnership with B3 Bicycles, will be hosting a hands-on training and instruction session on fixing "tubed "tire flats and basic bicycle maintenance. We will be holding a separate tubeless class on another date. For a hands on experience, please bring your bike and a spare tube which will allow you to train on your own bike. If you are tubeless, this class is still relevant as there are cases where even though you are tubeless, you will need to use a tube. You can partner with one of the other riders.

Agenda

• How to remove and install your wheels with grace and aplomb - quick release and thru-axle. (No more smashing your rear wheel into your rear derailleur until it magically decides to go where you want it to!)
• How to change a tube (No more calling your parents or spouse at ungodly hours from very far away!)
• Basic Bike Maintenance (Brakes, Gears, Chains ..)

If participation is good, we can move on to slightly more advanced pieces of maintenance in the future.

Note this class will be limited to the first 25 registrants and will have wait list capabilities if we reach that limit.
